Through a combination of evidence-based techniques, including cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and mindfulness approaches, we work together to address your concerns and facilitate transformation.

By honoring your unique experiences, we create a space for exploration and insight. Our goal is to equip you with practical tools to navigate challenges while delving into the underlying factors that shape your thoughts and behaviors. With a commitment to your well-being, we gradually adapt the therapy process as you progress, ensuring that the path to healing is both effective and meaningful.

Step by step, session by session, we embark on a transformative journey, cultivating resilience and fostering positive change. Your therapeutic experience is as individual as you are, and together, we forge a path towards a brighter, more fulfilling future.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy, also known as one-on-one psychotherapy or counseling, is a therapeutic process where an individual works closely with a trained therapist to address their emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. This collaborative and confidential relationship provides a safe space for the individual to openly discuss their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Through guided conversations, the therapist helps the individual gain insights into their emotions, behaviors, and patterns, while also offering empathy, validation, and emotional support.

The goal of individual therapy is to help individuals better understand themselves, develop effective coping strategies, and make positive changes in their lives. Therapists utilize evidence-based techniques and therapeutic modalities to tailor the treatment to the individual's unique needs and goals. Whether dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, or personal growth, individual therapy equips individuals with tools to manage their challenges, improve their mental well-being, and enhance their overall quality of life. It's a process of self-discovery, personal growth, and empowerment that supports individuals in navigating life's complexities.

Couples/Relationship Counseling

Couples counseling, also known as couples therapy or marriage counseling, is a form of psychotherapy designed to help couples address and navigate various challenges and issues within their relationship. It involves meeting with a trained therapist or counselor who specializes in working with couples to help the couple identify the patterns or issues in the relationship that are preventing the connection and partnership that is desired. Relationship counseling is a safe place for the couple to talk about difficult topics or feelings. Sometimes, couples counseling allows a couple to explore the relationship to determine whether or not it is possible to continue the relationship in a healthy way or in a way that is able to meet the needs of both people.

Relationship counseling can improve emotional connection, communication, intimacy and resilience in the couple for future stumbling blocks or conflicts. Some couples engage in counseling proactively and early in a relationship to gain the knowledge and tools to build the relationship they desire and prevent past experiences, upbringing, trauma and habits from interfering or eroding their connection.

Whether you are newly contemplating engagement, early in your marriage or married for 20 plus years, it is a great time to reach out and begin working towards the future and realtionship you desire.

Teen/Adolescent Counseling

Adolescents require a therapist that is familiar with their social, emotional and cognitive developmental stages. The stages of adolescence include early adolescence from age 10 to 14, mid-adolescence from age 15 to 17, and late adolescence from age 18 to 24.  Each stage can bring unique challenges for the teen as they formulate their identity and independence while navigating their social environment. During this transitional time, teens will be making choices and realizations regarding friendships, academics, sexuality, gender, identity, drugs, and alcohol.

A therapeutic relationship allows the teen to have their own space to navigate these changes along with their thoughts and feelings while also improving communication between teen and parents.  When a teen feels heard and understood they become more self-aware, develop higher self-esteem and experience improved relationships.

Parent Coaching/Counseling

Parent therapy/coaching is a type of therapeutic support that is beneficial for addressing a wide range of challenges that parents may face in their journey of raising children. During the initial appointment, the therapist and parent(s), will explore the current issues and dynamic of the family and together make a plan for the following sessions. Most parents experience positive changes in their families within 3-4 sessions and the greatest benefit when attending regularly for 3 to 4 months. .
