Faith Rutz, LPC Associate
Supervised by Traci Koen, LPC-S, RPT-S

Faith is passionate about helping children, preteens, and teens feel understood, supported, and empowered. She has a special passion for supporting preteens ages 8 through 12 and young teens as they move through the unique pressures of middle school, peer pressure, friendships, identity development, and the ups and downs of confidence. She works with youth experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, life transitions, disabilities, and identity exploration, including those in the LGBTQ+ community.

Faith understands how difficult it can be for parents to watch their child face these challenges. With warmth and creativity, she helps kids and their parents develop awareness and coping strategies to move forward and make progress for growth and emotional strength.

When working with younger children, Faith uses play therapy and art to give them safe, creative ways to express their feelings. With older kids and teens, she creates a supportive space where they can open up, be themselves, and learn practical tools to cope with life’s challenges. Faith’s clients look forward to their sessions and get to make many decisions about what and how they create, talk or play.
